According to CNET and Microsoft’s site, MS is embracing Python, an open source programming language used by Unix, Linux and OS X folks for doing quick and dirty scripting. Python is a pretty easy language but Ruby’s been getting a lot more attention and converts lately, especially for web development. Personally, I love Perl and am going to continue working with it for the foreseeable future.
