Vodafone India MMS Settings for iPhone

It took some time to get the correct MMS settings for the iPhone but below is a screenshot of the exact settings to be used with Vodafone in Delhi when using SwirlyMMS for the iPhone. The same settings should work with Vodafone users in the rest of India and I would love to hear from those of you who have gotten it working. Unfortunately, SwirlyMMS doesn’t yet allow receiving MMS messages but the developers are working on adding that feature in soon.

Btw... updated settings (as on 31/3/08) are:

MMSC: mms1.live.vodafone.in/mms/
Proxy: 10.10.1.100:9401
APN: portalnmms

Glad you found it useful.
I'm not sure if the image size has to be low because of something in SwirlyMMS or the amount of bandwidth needed to send a bigger picture chokes Vodafone. In either case, low works and the others don't for me.

Amazing... Works in Mumbai too :)...
Though I had to restart the application the first few times.
Used the latest version. Apparently, it allows receiving MMSes as well. Version 0.3.8... There's a small "M" icon shown nexxt to the battery indicator. It turns bright green if the settings are okay.
